I truly believe WPHS is an excellent school. My 2 students are happy and thriving here and the staff is incredible. They are bringing in new academic options that we are excited to see come to life (JROTC). With a new school board I know the district will continue to excel. I'm excited for my students to be WPHS graduates!

My husband worked here for 21 years. My children both attended. The staff love these kids, work hard to make learning interesting and challenging, and interact with the kids both at school and away. P/T conferences occur in the wild when families see the teachers out and about. The staff are alway accessible to the kids and families -- one of the benefits of living in a smaller community. The opportunities are wide: sports, clubs, extracurriculars, music, art, and many ways to get involved in whatever the child loves to do. We lost grants a few years ago due to an extreme school board, but the new board is working hard to bring them back.

My daughter has attended Columbine for 2 years and I can say without a doubt she learned and was challenged here more than her previous school. The teachers and staff are AMAZING and always helped her. She has now graduated to the 7th grade at the Jr/Sr high school and we are sad to say goodbye to Columbine. I would recommend this school for families as it truly is a gem.
