About this House

What is the story with this seemingly too good to be true priced 5 Acres? Well, my brother and I have been paying taxes on this for almost 20 years. Our Grandpa was the Mayor of Barstow back in the 50's. He originally purchased this property then it passed to my Mom in the 70's and Mom passed it to my brother and I about 20 years ago. We haven't really been back to California since we moved to Idaho in the 80's. The property has really great roads and no CCR's or HOA. It's also surrounded by BLM Land so no neighbors which makes 5 acres feel like 20 ;-) We are really hoping to give a great family a really great deal on this property. That's the biggest reason its priced so well... plus some tires and trash somebody left on a part of our property in the last few years... so we are priced to sell and under accessed value. There is a Gas Line underground on part of the property. CASH ONLY. Parcel Number 0516-271-32. My daughter and son are both currently attending Montara and they love it. Mr. Acedo is a very involved and caring principal. The kindergarten team at Montara is awesome. They are constantly going the extra mile to ensure that our children are happy and enjoying learning. Mrs. Blake is so wonderful that I wish my son had attended her class. My daughter is in her class and she has learned sign language and comes home every day excited about learning. I couldn't be happier with the teachers we have had. The only thing lacking is funding for students to attend field trips and other events. I hope this changes one day for our children's sake.

"both the 15 frwy and the 40 frwy are fairly close so make the kids and parents aware of stranger dangers in the area. know who your kids are with."

"it's a small town that I love people know everyone. you have friendships made that go back 40 years. you have all kinds of history around you. all you have to do is dig it up. if you like rocks and bottles then you will love this place "
