7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter left a private school and started attending Raisinville last year. Her reading and math scores skyrocketed! I love the international baccalaureate status and peace education. The principal is my former middle school teacher and is overall an amazing human being. Kids are taught with compassion and patience. The only downsides I see are the pick up/ drop off line being long (lots of school choice kiddos, including mine) and parent engagement. My daughter’s former school met with me 4x a year. I think I met with the teacher 1x last year. It was an adjustment, but I can’t argue with the results. Overall very happy with Raisinville.Parent Review1y ago10 Reviews - Monroe High School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBeing low income and a person with disabilities this school has so bad. I remember just dreading going to school from bullies to the bullie teacher's. So I skipped a lot of school just to avoid it all. And when you did try to reach out for help they always made it feel like it was your fault.Other Review5y ago5 Reviews - Check out schools near Nadeau Road N Monroe.

"Private subdivision. Mostly working professionals and retired community. A few bad apples. We have a group of neighbors that meet in the driveway for an evening glass of wine. "

"the two main roads telegraph and monroe Street are always laden with construction and I75 always has an accident forcing traffic onto those two streets from the highway, so expect anywhere in monroe to take you 15-25 minutes to get there on a good day"

"We participate in downtown Monroe events. The music in the park, art, the parades, Christmas tree lighting, the restaurants. You can also spend a day or two walking around reading all the info about Monroe’s history, as well. Talking a stroll by the water...visiting the many parks and many churches to visit of different denominations, too. "

"My area is so convenient to everything. Neighborhood store, police, hospital, medical facilities and fire department. Local transportation in front of house. Quick access to stores, schools, churches, downtown, concerts and all highways. It is an amazing area to live with a very small turnover of residents. "

"This is a great neighborhood to live in. The people are friendly and the town is just the right size. There is a lot of potential here. Monroe is just close enough to all of the big cities, but far enough away to avoid the traffic and chaos. "

"All of my neighbors look out for each other. We have eachothers backs without being too nosey. Most of us have surveillance cameras setup around the outside of our homes so it would be incredibly difficult for a crime to happen and no one notice it. Its a very secure and safe feeling."
