I was getting searched at school they had no suspicion on me they just wanted to search me they were going around the school and searching kids trying to find people who selling vapes and they pulled me out of class and said that i was selling vapes but i heard earlier that week a kid a got searched for no reason and was also asked if he was selling them they had nothing on me that i was selling them they went through my stuff and then i was metal detected and i had a belt on and they can not make you take off clothing the school resource cop asked can i yeah i didn't know what she was going to do but then she lifted up my shirt and pulled back my waste band and said there was something in there later on my friend got searched cause kids set off an alarm and they searched him and he was wearing a belt to but they didn't even say any thing they just said he fine so they were going after me for no reason other than just wanting to do they also charged it to me as a third offense but it was only my second time they also had to of the same gender in the room while i was being searched and they have to have two different genders in the room the teachers here are great but the administrations team is terrible as long as with the school resource officer they lied to my parents and said that i should just remove the vape but that didn't happen as i explained above i like the teachers they try there best but the administrations team they need to be fired immediately.

I was really disgusted with how my family was treated. We were an Open Enrollment family. When I asked for my son to get on a Templeton bus that passed my house every day, I was told to call our resident district to get transportation. After calling the district and the bus companies that served my residential district, they informed me that the Hamilton School District only had to call them back to give the okay for my son to get picked up. The response, “We’ve never done that before, so...” That was it. My son did however feel very comfortable with Mrs. Fuller, the only teacher to try to tap into my son’s mathematics potential. When we did move to another district, we transferred to that school in the middle of my son’s 7th grade year. I called a few times before classes, but during office hours, asking what is required for the transfer. No calls were returned. I called during my lunch hour, the call was picked up, and I was asked if I received and filled out a “withdrawal” form. I let them know that I’d be there in a few minutes to do so, and to pick up my son’s belongings. The form was waiting for me when I got there. I filled it out as I was checked in without my ID (I had been there a few times before so it was already in the system). The principal retrieved my son’s gym items while I got his things from his general locker. The principal met me by my son’s locker and began tossing his things into the bags that I was using. As we walked back to the office, I asked, “Is there anything else to do?” The principal responded, “I don’t know, but let’s check with the ladies at the desk. We walked in and the principal asked, “Is that it!” The secretary said, “Yes, I think so. That’s it.” I said, “Okay?” The principal said, “Okay, bye!” and went back to his office. Very personal experience at this school (enter sarcasm).

I have two boys, one who is 13 and has gone on to the middle school and one who is 91/2 and is currently in Woodside Elementary School. My older son spent K5 - 5th grade at Woodside, as well. I couldn't tell you about enough of the great things that are going on at Woodside to express to you how much I love the fact that I am fortunate enough to send (or have sent) my boys to this school!!! My children have always felt welcomed, loved and accepted in each and every classroom they have been in. The teachers and the staff treat all of the children attending woodside as if they were their own children...and the wonderful men and women that work their day after day really and truly LOVE their jobs and the children that they work with. I love Woodside!
