The superintendent and elementary school principal are concerning individuals. The elementary school principal treats distressed students with irritability and unkindness due to her incapability with diffusing a situation, but puts on a facade of compassion in front of parents. It is very fitting that she dressed as Cruella De Vil in a recent Halloween parade which took place at the school while having faculty members dress up as her "henchmen", Horace and Jasper, and other faculty members as the dalmatians. The superintendent has a superiority complex and thinks it's dangerous to "blindly trust" your children. He takes criticism about the school personally and blames a lack of funding for all of its short-comings. There is no guidance counselor available to students, the passing period is 3 minutes, and he thinks that is too long. Students are not excited or engaged to learn, but instead are fearful of consequences of missed assignments and tardiness. Reading and math proficiency are lacking, but it's hard to fault the students when they are not provided with the opportunity to improve considering the head of their small district struggles with reading comprehension. Phone calls go unanswered. The sports teams perform poorly, again no fault to the students. I have personally witnessed a student slap the glasses off another with zero repercussions. If one values his or her children and their education, homeschooling or any other district is a better option. The superintendent is proud of their Christmas program which does not occur everywhere in Wisconsin due to other districts being "too cultural". Check out their salaries on "open payrolls", and it is unsurprising that they are the two highest paid employees of the district who complain about funding.
