We have a child in 4k and one in kindergarten. After attending a different school for 4k we were hopeful for a better experience at East and they have delivered. The teachers are fantastic and keep parents up to date almost daily. The boys are excited to go to school and to learn/do activities at school. The school itself always has activities/events going on to keep kids and parents engaged.

"It is a very dog-friendly community. A large portion of people own dogs, and you can see a number of people walking their dogs throughout the day. My biggest complaint is the lighting in my neighborhood - even with a reflective harness and leash I still don’t feel as though my dog is visible enough for walks at night - and there are no sidewalks. "

"Most of the neighborhoods in Jefferson have a Mayberry kind of feeling. It's fun to return to the city to see all of the improvements being done. one negative is that a lot of the yards aren't kept up the way that they should be."

"perfect area,shopping ,medical,all service within 3 miles of country road,no traffic,freeway access 4 miles,emergency response 2miles country road(quick response)not for singles,nitelife 40 miles away,perfect winter wonderland,snowmobile,cross country ski,hunting,fishing,quiet country living"

"Great little neighborhood by the Rock River. Great schools, nice little downtown with awesome bakery and burger/ice cream shops, family-owned pharmacy. Wonderful place to call home. Jefferson is underrated!"

"Great location between Lake Mills, Johnson creek, and Cambridge, and half way between Madison and Milwaukee. Easy access to any outing from local farmers markets to major sporting events, fabulous restaurants and cafe's. But still have a private setting to escape to. Truly the best of both worlds!"
