3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThey let kids of opposite genders change in the same locker room. A bio-girl changes in the boys locker room and a bio-boy changes in the girls locker room. My daughter is friends with the girl and she tells my daughter that she likes boys yet, she is allowed to change in the boys locker room and how she watches the boys change. My daughter also shared that they called her in and asked what her preferred name and gender is. They also told her that they would not tell or share this with her parentsParent Review2y ago9 Reviews - Joe Stefani Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is by far worst from what my friends tell me. How does a third grader struggle to learn when the teachers don't teach them the correct way. Using too much technology to make their life easier isn't helping the kids. They don't even know how to use a dictionary book. Their homework is always a struggle for them because they're not taught how to do the homework. It's like throwing things at kids and expect them to learn. The office staffs are so inattentive and rude. Parking lot is chaotic when picking up the kids. Some teachers gives you an attitude when you go pick up your kids. Everyone seems rushed to go home and I feel like the school is all about getting money instead of improving it. No wonder California ranks the bottom in education, no one cares anymore.Parent Review6y ago4 Reviews - Buhach Colony High School

"I see people using the bus stop down the street where I live. Easy access. My neighbors mind there own business, yards are clean, inside castle garden it feels safe to walk, great areas for the kids to play. There’s a community pool and it has a fence with a lock so the kids can’t get in unless they have supervision."

"People walk their dogs and just leave their poop so if you don’t like picking up your dogs poop then this is a perfect place for you. No one says anything. Most people won’t let you pet their dog either. Most dogs are for protecting so that’s why they won’t pet them. "

"I don’t drive but it’s way better the the Bay Area or Fresno or Modesto or even Turlock. 99 is scary. There’s a lot of homeless people here now and A LOT of druggies/ mentally ill. When I first moved here they were not aloud to live on the streets and it was WAY nicer. Only person you saw on the side walk was a nice man with a smile sign. Now you have to hide everything and make sure you’ve locked everything up super good can’t open your blinds or leave your mail longer then an hour or leave anything visible in your car. It’s better then a big city but the police won’t do anything unless they feel like it. "

"Great place to live! There aren’t many places like Atwater that have the same sense of community and love. Like anywhere else there are bad areas and influences we would rather not have around. However the pros always outweigh the cons! In looking for a place to call home there is no where else in California I would rather see myself raising my family then in Atwater California."

"Families, older people, but it’s a good neighborhood. Near two elementary schools. Not as many homeless people in Atwater. No stray dogs roaming like in Merced. "

"I have lived in my current residence for about 5 years. The neighbors are good people and we all watch out for each other’s property’s and inform each other when we feel any suspicious activity is going on which is not often. I like our location because we are right down the street from the park and It’s nice to be able to walk. Pretty good neighborhood, just a very busy main street where most people drive too fast. "
