8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSince the Mt Clemens students have come in, the big focus is on a lot of those students, not the existing students. If your child is average or above, the teachers/school will not push your child to excel, hence why the scores are where they are(dropped significantly in the past few years). Students with behavioral problems just get ignored, as teachers hands are tied- which equate to too much distraction in the classroom. Definitely not what they used to be, as the school is in a major decline. The best part of the school is the PTC. They hold lots of activities and events for the students/teachers which is awesome, but definitely don’t outweigh the issues that go on during school time.Families are slowly trickling out, pulling their kids out of this school, and it shows.Parent Review1y ago13 Reviews - High School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe principal in year 2021-2022 is absolutely rude. Most of the staff do not care about there students and make it very difficult to get a resolution to a problem. A lot of teachers are homophobic, Islamaphobic, and among other things. Multiple reports have been filed and no one has done a thing. The only good few people in the school. Is the nurse, a few counselors, AP Lang. and Comp. teacher, our rep, and the choir/ band teachers. It is embarrassing to say as a young black women attending this school. I feel unrepresented, and overall feel like my education is lacking. Even though I’m in AP/hours courses. That’s something sad to say.Student Review3y ago2 Reviews - L'anse Creuse Middle School - Central

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageNumber 1 The teachers are sexist, some only favor guys some only favor girls. Tell me why you have to be a certain gender to get treated like a person. Number 2 the school is racist 77% percent white kids and 50 percent of them would call a black person the n word. Some teachers are discrimitary. And this school don't help, instead of helping you they just treat you like your dumb. They have bad behaved kids but yelling at them and making them sit completely silent for and hour or more WILL NOT HELP!Student Review1mo ago4 Reviews - Check out schools near N River Clairpoint.

"Just like living in Nothern Michigan, very little traffic and very quiet. Except in the summer when the Metro park guests and boater's return then it becomes a very happening place to be. "

"The thing I enjoy about our neighborhood is being able to sit in my upstairs bedroom and listen to the live music at St Hubert’s Church Festival in Sept. Then when Mt Clemens has its fireworks Dec 31 I can watch them from either of my upstairs bedrooms which face in that direction."
