7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school was horrible. I had come to them about being severely bullied and all they did was offer to switch me classes and talk to the bully. Nothing changed. My friends then had to try to ask them to do something more, nothing. My parents tried to tell them, nothing. It got to the point the bullying was so bad that authorities almost got involved and I had to drop out of school all together and switch to homeschool. Teachers simply don’t care to do anything if a kid is being bullied, it’s horrible. I was beat up almost everyday, a teacher SAW me get punched and did nothing.Student Review1y ago10 Reviews - Indian Landing Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI had such high expectations for this school after hearing good things from other parents, unfortunately we were very disappointed. There is a lack of communication regarding safety concerns in classrooms with administration. I've heard from my child and their teacher, that classes have been evacuated many times because of students acting out and being unsafe or disruptive. Discipline for these students is a joke. They may get sent home for the day but then they are back at school doing the same thing the next day. Children that act out may get pulled from the classroom and they are rewarded with walks or going to a room with toys. Administration is disserving all these kids and sadly setting them up to fail in the real world.I wish we could transfer to another district.Parent Review2y ago6 Reviews - Penfield Senior High School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school promotes athletics over academic achievement. They do not support mental health and punish staff who do. They have issues with bullying and do not punish the students who do bully. The staff has a "Bro" mentality and encourages such behavior. An example is the gym teacher calls himself "Big Johnson" and it is widely accepted and used. It is a popularity contest to give a gratulation speech and the Valedictorian is not the one who is rewarded for their hard work. It might push kids through the AP pipeline but SPED students are left barely treading water and thrown to the wayside. The guidance department is there to push the company line rather than support student well-being. This school is falling short and needs extreme overhaul.Parent Review1y ago5 Reviews - Check out schools near N Landing Rd.

"Not really built for dogs. The price is right but the utilities here dont really work for my dogs and they are small. The washer dryer combos in these apartments are made for people that dont have winter let alone dogs. They use ventless cheap ge units that take forever to dry and dont remove dog hair or lint. So be prepared to spend more money for a unit and more on the washer and dryer downstairs."
