There is a dense cover of oaks, pecans, cedar, elm and browse for wildlife and a good native grasses for cattle grazing. Areas of cedar have been mulched to provide areas for food plots. Surface water includes a large pond is fed by a deep draw that has been dammed up, as well as a spring fed creek that flows through the northeast corner of the property. Water wells are plentiful in the area so getting a water well should not be a problem. Deer, turkey, hog and bird hunting are excellent. Property is fenced, electricity available at the road, Ag exempt and all owned minerals convey.

As an Alumni of MHS, I would initially rate the school with 4 stars. The teachers really care about the students, the students care about each other, opportunities are available for all to students to participate in a athletics, and there is generally a robust attitude of optimism, patriotism and family values. The only shortfall that I can recognize is that there is not enough money in the budget to allow for an extensive variety of extracurricular courses that lay the foundation for college courses such as drama, music, foreign languages, etc. and sometimes the teachers are required to teach a course that is not their area of expertise. More funding or perhaps a volunteer program could/would aid in these areas.

"Traffic and hassle free. I live less than a mile away from my job and a few blocks from stores and restaurants in town. Regardless it takes 5 minutes to get from one end of the town to the other. I do not have anything to complain about as far as my commute goes "
