4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI've moved here because apparently the high school was great, but it really is just a joke. While I am still a freshmen, all the praise about thr school is outdated. None of the teachers seem to care to teach, simply giving work to satisfy grades, so many accomodations have been made that even honor classes are too easy for anyone with 2 braincells, and literally none of the students care about school at all. The extra curriculars are the only thing worth in this school, although I doubt its better than most other high schools. Do not recommend this, High Tech is a much better option.Student Review1y ago6 Reviews - Lincoln No. 3 Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy experience with this school has been very disappointing. This is my son’s first year here, and I have already had to speak with the principal regarding inappropriate and unprofessional remarks made by a teacher in front of the class. These comments were unacceptable and should never occur in a classroom setting.More recently, my son reported that a female school aide entered the bathroom and physically pushed him out without any verbal communication. When I spoke with the assistant principal, I was told the situation was due to a “language barrier.” While I understand challenges can exist, staff working directly with students should be able to communicate clearly and appropriately at all times especially in situations involving student safety and personal space.Since raising my initial concerns earlier this year, I have noticed what feels like possible retaliation toward my child. Assignments are being marked as “uncompleted” without clear explanation, and items such as books have gone missing and later reappeared at his desk after being taken by other students. This lack of consistency and accountability is concerning.Additionally, while parents are encouraged to rely on PowerSchool to track assignments and homework, it is not updated consistently, making it difficult to stay informed and support our children effectively. Overall, I believe the school needs stronger staff oversight, improved communication, and more reliable systems in place. I am looking forward to the end of this school year and hope meaningful changes are made moving forward.Parent Review3w ago2 Reviews - Kennedy Elementary School

"I've in my neighborhood my whole life and people here are so respectful and diverse. The schools are great and the determination that the schools have for a safe, fun, healthy learning environment for the students is amazing and no one discriminates. You can easily become friends with anyone here. "

"Harrison is only 1 square mile, Transportation not needed to get to the downtown area, with everything within walking distance. Buses and trains easily accessible to cammute to the big cities, Newark, Jersey City, Hoboken, NewYork City, etc. It is a very diverse community with a varying range of professional and blue collar inhabitants,. International shops and restaurants can be found and with the southern part of town evolving through gentrification with higher end apartment buildings and business establishments opening up in place of abandoned industrial buildings. Red Bulls professional soccer stadium is attracting an increase in younger professionals. Despite the desirable aspects, traffic is a nightmare when games are scheduled. You can literally crawl faster as the streets have not been updated to support the increased traffic flow. Overall the diversity, close proximity to major highways and cities and access to all modes of transportation make it a desirable community for many."
