4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe only ones who have an agreeable rating know people who teach or are on the board. Kids are taken out and homeschooled almost weekly. If you live in WC nothing will ever be done about bullying. It's simple folks, obey the rules or stay home and off the bus. But they won't do that. They want money for bodies at school. They also took in a part of dayton school students for money and bus them back and forth. We live here, pay taxes, but don't use the schools. Hopefully new governor will allow my money they get to choose the school we want to use. Open enrollment should not be allowed, it's all about moneyParent Review7mo ago11 Reviews - Harry Russell Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe year round calendar sets this school apart but also the quality teachers and the emphasis on teaching the kids character traits needed to succeed as well as math and writing. I'm always happy to tell people about our school and there are always lots of questions regarding the unconventional calendar (which we love).Parent Review13y ago3 Reviews - West Carrollton Early Childhood Center

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWest Carrolton has an open enrollment policy with no behavior plans in place. Often students are expelled from other schools and then admitted to West Carrollton. As a teacher, it is one of the most stressful school environments to work in. West Carrollton's behavior is equal, if not worse, than Dayton City Schools. The administration creates a toxic work environment with little to no support. The students who want to learn often experience stressful school environments with school fights and bullying.Teacher Review3y ago5 Reviews - West Carrollton Middle School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is a very difficult school to teach in with little to no support from the administration. Cussing, verbal threats, and school fights are commonplace. The administration suggests ignoring negative behavior and allows bullying to occur saying it's just playing around. Teachers are held to an unrealistic standard of instructional integrity when half of the students will not participate. Teaching appointments are at the district's discretion, and teachers are reappointed to different buildings or even punished by given positions they do not want if they speak up about the teaching conditions.Teacher Review4y ago6 Reviews - Check out schools near Munger.

"I have lived in Grafton Hill for 9 years and have no problem recommending it. I love how close I am to the water where I often see kayakers and people fishing. I also love how walkable the area is as I no longer own a car (by choice) and I walk 5-6 days weekly, 4-6 miles per day for exercise. Only one mile from Downtown Dayton and I have always felt safe."

"I’ve lived here for almost 3 years and my husband and I love South Park. Our neighborhood is friendly, holds parties, activities and more all year round. Everyone decorated for the holidays and has get togethers. A good mix of young and old and a lot of different dogs we’ve gotten to meet walking ours in the park. "
