9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has good curriculum activities and plenty of friends to make. But here are the negatives.1. Accelerated Reader is forced on everybody. This county is the only district in America where AR is required to be promoted to the next grade. If you don't do AR, You will have an F on the grade card each term. AR should be optional in this county like all other districts.2. At Mullens Elementary, Some teachers can be sweet but the others are rude and shows no social skills to the students whatsoever. My child cries on a daily basis due to the staff yelling. They even gave my child lunch detention for no reason a couple of times.VERDICT - I recommend going to school somewhere else but I wouldn't recommend MES or MMS.Parent Review10y ago - Mullens Middle School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son went to Mullens Middle in 2007. He was okay with going to school there. But, when I spoke to his teachers. They were very rude to me and my son. The principal was nice and the secretary had an attitude problem. I really didn't like the way the teachers were treating me and my son. My son says he is not sending his children to that school due to the rude staff. I really don't recommend this school at all.Parent Review11y ago
