"Beautiful! We live under the snow capped mountain is Mt Shasta. Water is clean and untreated- better than bottled water and it comes right from the tap. Town is quite with no crime. It is truly one of the last beautiful small towns in California. "

"Such a wonderful place to live surrounded with natural beauty! Friendly place where everyone waves. A place where you can enjoy all four seasons at a slower pace of life."

"Small town life. Most everyone knows everyone else. Good restaurants and great scenery. Truly Gods Country. "

"McCLoud, CA is the best little town in the west. Safe, clean, great schools with very small class sizes allow 1:1 teacher student activity. A great music program in both the elementary school and the high school. The only down side is the nightlife or lack there of. A great view of Mt Shasta from most everyplace in town."
