Confidence Elementary is easily the best school I have ever worked at! All teachers and staff are passionate and devoted to the students' learning and well-being. We have one of the best teacher to student ratios in the district. Our test scores are rising higher and higher every year (look on zoomwv.k12.wv.us for updated scores). We offer several extracurricular programs such as Archery and Choir. I wouldn't send my kids anywhere else!

I graduated from Winfield and have three children graduate from WHS as well as a freshmen starting this year. If the only thing bad people can say about this school is they are too Christian and strict then I believe they are doing well! I have four well mannered, respectful, intelligent children and they were all taught in Winfield Schools.

i have had one child complete all 3 years and one in the 8th grade right now (2021). Their over all experience has been wonderful the Principal Mr. Matt Shock is the best I have ever seen he gets completely involved in all activities at the school, he even does spirit week with the kids, attends all football, basketball games. I have never seen another Principal get so involved with his students and school. The teachers are all willing and ready to help the students in any way they can, they want them to succeed. The atmosphere of the school is all around just a wonderful and happy place. I would absolutely recommend this school.
