Intensive scheduling where half the semester was literally retaking old tests taught me how to take a test, but was a HUGE setback in effectively writing papers, problem solving, or learning much more than how to take a test. If the district hasn't done away with it, DON'T let your children be roped into the Regents program!

One of the worst schools in NY if you are a low budget kind of family they will push your child out of that school.. I have had my child call me on the phone while the school principle was in the bathroom screaming at my son while he was using the bathroom. That is not okay. My child has been abused multiple times on video and nothing was done about it. He got threatened to get shot by another student at the school and nothing was done about it. My son has been abused so much it has changed his mental behavior drastically. He was upset and swore at another student one day and the sheriff at the school tried getting him to sign paperwork without an adult and threatened Me, his mom, to send the police to my home to have him arrested because I made my son leave the school without signing anything because I know my rights. I wouldn't trust sending a cat or a dog to this school district. The staff does not care about these children at all. It's very frustrating as a parent and the students. God bless everyone.. DO NOT send your child to this school district.

I agree with all the positive statements people have made. So glad out children get to go to Ridge Road school. Everyone has been super nice and helpful and created a nurturing and learning environment.
