"I grew up here both sides of my family are from here and still here its great the people are so friendly and the area is simply beautiful"
  • Adam D.
"I've lived in or near Saltville all of my life. the town may be small but it has some big things that make me proud to be a resident of this town. the outdoor activities are limitless, fishing, hunting, ATV, bikes, hiking, bird watching, photography, history, farming, friendly people, to name just a few. yeah it may be seclusive, but that makes it special for me. I like not having people right on top of one another. along with knowing my neighbors 6 homes down. Saltville may not be perfect for everyone, but if you enjoy the outdoors and don't like having tons of people around all the time it's a great place. the only downside in my opinion is that it takes about 10 to 15 minutes to reach the interstate."
  • Adam D.
"I've lived here my entire life, although all places have Ups and downs. the most positive aspect of living in Saltville is the views, nature, the water ways. the negatives are that it isn't close to good jobs, unfortunately that means farther travel to get to them."
  • Michael S.
"I WORKED IN THIS VRRY SAME AREA...LIVED IN THIS NICE BIG HOUSE NOT FAR FROM THE RIVER...IT' A NICE PLACE FOR GROWN PEOPLE..I WOULDN'T RECCOMEND RAISING KIDS HERE...TOO MANY HAZARDS IN THIS AREA.."
