"It’s a pet friendly area.. love going on walks with our dog here.. good exercise for him.. people usually see my dog and run the other way.. we have a Cain Corso.. not here.. very welcoming "
    • Ghsgkmom
"No sidewalks, lots of cars on the main road. Not the easiest place to walk a dog. Lots of good smells though. "
    • Samantha Rose
"I’ve lived here my whole life and it’s kinda dangerous at night but overall a beautiful place to live "
    • Teri Robertson
"Long and often tricky since we have snow and ice in the winter. We also have a lot of tourists for our seasons. "
    • Teri Robertson
"Rural living in CA with all 4 seasons. Commute is hard because it’s snows up here at 5,000 feet and to go down the mountain to work is very tricky and can be dangerous. Many times excessive snow has prevented folks getting to work. "
    • Trulia User
"Twin peaks has a great farmers market and is the connecting city between Running spring and Lake Arrowhead. Twin peaks is above crestline and some homes have great views of the lake. "
    • Trulia User
"I am just visiting the area but it seems very nice. Lots of daffodils in the area. It is in the middle of everything. One very steep road I got scared to drive down in the winter. "
    • Linkn
"Weddings at the San Moritz lodge. Senior community center also near the San Moritz lodge. Fireworks at the lake. Swimming and fishing at the lake. It is a great community. "
    • Teri R.
"We have fresh air and wildlife. There is low density in housing. You can fish hunt and ski. There are 5 lakes within an hour of my house"
    • Ellen E
"I believe this town is a very kid friendly neighborhood! I see children playing happily all the time whether it’s biking in the streets or playing on a playground!"
    • Scarlett K.
"There are no sidewalks, but other than that minor inconvenience nothing else bothers me! (as a dog owner myself)"
    • Alinas828
"its a small townand very quite and most people are very friendlythere is a lot of homeless people up,here then ysual"
    • Sylostolaza
"Living among the trees year round can be peaceful. In the winter living above the clouds is a beautiful sight "
    • Nicole B.
"we have a summer concert series and a farmer's market every weekend of the summer. there are also other monthly events that really bring the community together. The businesses have trick or treating for Halloween and 4th of July is a huge, full town celebration. "
    • Amber L. A.
"Schools are not recommended For housing it’s nice off of the highways, people are friendly, sights are gorgeous. Mountain living is for those looking for more peaceful days, smaller town feel and the ability to be closer to nature and enjoy the fresh air! "
    • Mary
"The town does it up for Halloween giving children treats at all businesses so they don't have to walk to houses. Large Christmas bonfire with Santa giving gifts to the children, hot dogs and cocoa, FREE. Lake Gregory has a dog park and exercise equipment amongst all family and children amenities. Great fireworks for the 4th. Close by free tribute band concerts week ends ALL SUMMER. Mountain Singles (name should be Mountains Friends) is a club for Adults to meet with others for all fun stuff out like restaurants, bowling, movies and even game night. Lots of couples join in. There is always something to do in Crestline and close surroundings or enjoy doing nothing in it's beauty."
    • Victoria N.
"I’ve lived here for 20 years and there’s nothing quite like this place in Southern California. It’s beautiful and allows you to be in touch with nature as well as experience a small town community of people who live here for that reason. It’s a place that will forever hold my heart. "
    • Hindra G.
"everyone has animals. they all walk their dogs, they have cats, and they all know to bring their animals in at night because of the coyotes, bears, and mountain lions/bobcats."
    • Suzannestrachan
"I’ve lived here 1 1/2 years and everyone is so friendly. And it’s wonderful living in a national forest!"
    • Kara
"There’s many families but not many resources for day to day life (day care, pediatricians, playgrounds, etc)."
    • Jodi B.
"It’s Always nice and cool here. Summer never went much past 80 last year. We had some HOT DAYS, when it’s absolutely out of control with heat. Few and far between! It’s pet, people and hiking friendly! Don’t be afraid to ask! It’s beautiful and we’re only 2 miles from Crestline. 😊🙏🏼 Blessed"
    • Donna R
"Beautiful forested area. Friendly neighbors, great outdoor recreation options, Lake Gregory nearby, four seasons to enjoy. Quiet, small town-rural feel. Love it here!"
    • Katie
"Schools are just so-so; consider homeschooling. But it is a lovely area and commute “down the hill” is not bad."
    • Diane Nottingham
"We usually have a yearly potluck with all the people on our street. Good people here. We have loved it."
    • Linkn
"I only live here part time, my commute would be 95 miles. 14 miles of it would be mountain driving. Not bad but to far to live here full time. Really only one way down the mountain. That I know of. "
    • Linkn
"The walk to the lake is only a mile, but walking down hill is easy. walking up hill is steep. But everyone on the 4th walks to the lake to see fireworks. It’s really cool! "
    • Joycelynnmilholland
"I like to go do walks and talk with the one another have dinner potlucks camp have a safe fire and I Am very polite and respectful to my neighbors . I am on time with my rent and came here to find my own place I love the mountain it's very peaceful"
    • Jacquelinentaylor
"I love this mountain community. It is my heaven on Earth!!!! Beautiful homes, For the most part they're are friendly neighborhoods, and the commute to town is minutes from where ever you live."
    • Kcheagle
"Valley View Park is 3 minutes from Hwy 18. It takes 15 minutes to get to Twin Peaks, 25 minutes to Lake Arrowhead Village, and approximately 15 minutes to San Bernardino, and 20 minutes to get on the 210 Fwy. It's very commuter friendly."
    • Bvalyssa
"You can walk your dogs it’s fine their a dog park at the lake just wouldn’t recommend letting your dogs outside after dark a bigger animal might take off with it "
    • Acwynant
"It appears very peaceful and small town’esk. I could see myself retiring here. Not sure it would be great for kids but then again I am not super familiar with the area. "
    • Marcellabraunstein
