I am incredibly disappointed with Cowan Elementary School. The principal's leadership is abysmal, creating a toxic environment that permeates the entire school. Despite having some decent teachers who seem to genuinely care, they receive absolutely no support from the administration, leaving them overwhelmed and unable to properly address the needs of their students.One of the most glaring issues is the complete lack of understanding and support for students with special needs. The leadership is clearly unequipped and untrained to handle these students, resulting in inadequate care and attention. It's heartbreaking to see children who need specialized support being neglected because the school does not prioritize proper training or resources.Furthermore, the overall atmosphere of the school is anything but nurturing. The principal's harsh and unapproachable demeanor trickles down to the staff, making the school feel cold and unwelcoming. There is a noticeable absence of the love and care that should be present in an elementary school setting.The lack of effective leadership and support has a direct impact on the students' learning experiences. The teachers, despite their best efforts, are unable to provide the quality education that these young minds deserve. The administration's failure to foster a positive and supportive environment is a severe detriment to both the students and the staff.In conclusion, I cannot in good conscience recommend Cowen Elementary School. The principal's poor leadership and the lack of support for both teachers and students make it a place where children are not given the care and education they need. I sincerely hope that significant changes are made to address these issues, but until then, I would advise parents to consider other options for their children's education.

I'm a sophomore here currently and my entire freshman year was the worst school year if my life I would sleep in class and do terrible and you know what the teachers did about it nothing not a single thing they didn't tell me what I missed in class or anything but anyways the point is the teachers dont care here very very very few do they just care when do I get off and one day I even got accused of sleeping in class when I had my hand on my cheek sitting there paying attention fchs is the joke of tennessee schools go to marion somewhere better pls listen to this review I beg of you

This is a wonderful School teachers are involved with the students and give their time for many extracurricular activities
