9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averagei went here around 2015-16 and mainly got the “bad teachers,” i was publicly humiliated by one of the english teachers to the point the principal had to step in, and on the day of graduation my math teacher took me aside and told me i would never graduate high school. there are/were some genuinely amazing teachers at that school but i ended up getting the teachers most kids referred to as rude and unforgiving. i hope that math teacher is fired and didnt harm anymore kids.Other Review3w ago8 Reviews - Oak Avenue Elementary School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageExceptional school. We put our kid at Bullis Charter and regretted it so moved to our home zoned school, Oak. I am so glad we switched!! Oak has incredible programs for students of all ages. My kid is now passionate about reading, not crying about how pushy the teachers and other kids are. Importantly, she has friends. Even coming in when the other kids had already gone to school together, she was welcomed.Parent Review2mo ago10 Reviews - Check out schools near Miramonte Ave.

"People with dogs love it here! There are numerous places to walk. The weather here is perfect. Sunny almost every day (”almost” means Feb, which is rainy - winter here). Even when it rains, it sprinkles (I'm from Michigan so to me it's no big deal). The weather here is amazing!"

"Lived here almost 8 years now. I feel like I was very fortunate that I happened to stumble into such a wonderful community. All the neighbors have been incredibly friendly, and have always felt safe despite not having the best lit streets. Lots of young families, and great community park for kids and dogs. Love that it's still walkable to castro and shoreline. "

"I live in the downtown. There is no commute. I work across the street from where I live . If I did need to commute I am one block from CalTrain and Light Rail. I used to commute to Palo Alto and to San Francisco by CalTrain. Downtown Mountain View is pretty idyllic."
