10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a teacher and parent of three children who attended Vieja Valley K-6, I can confidently say that it is a school that you would ABSOLUTELY want your children to learn and grow in through their elementary school years. The staff loves each other as family and that permeates through to the love they have for families that attend. The school is fairly diverse and that diversity is a strength of the school. My kids felt safe and I feel valued as a staff member and stakeholder.Teacher Review5y ago9 Reviews - Trivium Charter School Voyage

"This is an amazing city but very expensive. You need to make a high salary to be able to afford to live here. "

"Lots of dog friendly parks and beaches. Can be off leash dogs in any of these spaces though, so it’s not a good neighborhood for reactive dogs."

"It’s a rough area but blessed to be so close to the marina and the beaches. Housing costs are sky high, juxtaposed with unhoused living just outside your door. Overall pretty magical but suffering from poor governance."

"There are parks and tons of exercise opportunities. However some are steep and, not for everyone plus no sidewalks. A careless driver ( or someone using the windy roads as a racetrack) and a dog getting out of the yard in this neighborhood could be a disaster. "

"For driving a car there is easy freeway access and a few gas stations around. There is a bus stop right on my block and there are regular buses that come through because the hospital is close by as well. "
