"Really nice community but homeless are starting to migrate in from Atlanta and else where. Nice mix of bar scene college town and government city "
  • Trulia User
"Lots of public events, people run thought out the neighborhoods often, lots of store, restaurants, and shopping close by. Hospital is very close. Very quite very little noise. Music festivals and night life every weekend. "
  • Megan R.
"Concerts at the VBC, lots of things going on Downtown, good food, unique people, ice skating at big spring park, tree light close to Christmas! tons of community events that make it special!"
  • Jaclyn A.
"Inner city schools are meh: the farther out you go the better schools you get. Growing up in new market is nice and quiet."
  • Priscilla L.
"It's a mixture of people and the military base that's here also helps! The city isn't that big so you can enjoy it here."
  • Camilliahoward26

  • Beth B.

  • samanthahathorn
"I live in this area and am glad to see how it has improved over the years. The streets are safe day and night, neighbors friendly - people stop and talk when they see each other - people find your dog running loose and bring him back to your house or call you to let you know. There are more and more downtown restaurants, and grocery shopping within a block of this property. Great Thai restaurant, BBQ, and 5 blocks away, great pubs serving locally brewed beer. A few clubs downtown and dining that features live bands, music. Love downtown Huntsville!"
