It is evident that the officials are more concerned with securing additional funds than creating a supportive learning environment for the students. Instead of addressing students' individual strengths and challenges, they appear determined to strip away opportunities, even going as far as pushing students towards expulsion and limiting their chances beyond the district. The superintendent's evident lack of qualifications raises serious questions about her appointment to the role. Furthermore, the district staff seem to deny students a fair chance to stand out, especially if they share a last name with past students. The middle school principal's misguided focus on trying to appear "cool" among the students is concerning; it is imperative that he channels his efforts into advocating for their futures. The entire school environment seems to be lacking, with students teaching each other rather than receiving proper guidance from qualified educators. It is clear that if the district continues to neglect its responsibility to provide a proper education, further decline is inevitable.
