2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy experience at WHS was amazing. Teachers are very supportive of students who truly want to succeed, and will go out of their way to help you get there. Teachers here also form great relationships with the students. Several of my former teachers at WHS truly shaped me into who I am today. WHS is unfairly labeled as a "bad" or "low performing" campus, which in my opinion is nothing more than rumors and stereotypes. It is what you make of it. If you go in with the right attitude, are respectful, and truly want to learn, you will excel. If more parents would actually give the school a chance, rather than transfer their children elsewhere based on rumors, the school might develop a better reputation. My experience at Willowridge was second to none, and you will be equally successful here if you try. Class of 2015, Go Eagles!Other Review9y ago7 Reviews - Christa McAuliffe Middle School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am very concerned about the culture and professionalism at Rosa Parks Middle School in Fresno, Texas. There are behaviors and patterns I have witnessed and heard about that raise serious concerns about how students are being treated and what kind of environment they are learning in.One issue that stands out is what appears to be stereotyping of students based on the type of shoes they wear. I have heard teachers discussing students' shoes and comparing brands, while some staff members themselves wear Jordans and engage in conversations with students about footwear in ways that seem unnecessary and inappropriate for a school setting. This creates an environment where students may feel judged or labeled based on appearance rather than character or academics.Another concerning incident involved an Easter activity where teachers participated in an Easter egg hunt while students were made to stand and watch. From what I observed, there was no similar activity provided for the children at that time. It is difficult to understand why students would be excluded from something meant to be fun and engaging, especially during a holiday event. There was also an event where a radio station visited the school, and teachers were dancing to music by YoungBoy and singing along to lyrics that I personally found inappropriate for a school environment. Educators should model professionalism and appropriate behavior at all times, especially in front of impressionable students.Additionally, I have witnessed staff members speaking to students in ways that sound more like street conversations than respectful communication with children. During visits to pick up my child, I have also observed the campus police officer sitting in the office listening to music while office staff were on their phones, which gave the appearance of a lack of attentiveness and professionalism.Overall, my experience has left me feeling that this school lacks the level of professionalism and student-centered focus that parents expect. I strongly encourage parents in the community to stay involved, pay attention to what their children are experiencing, and, if necessary, come together to bring concerns to the school district so that meaningful changes can be made. Our children deserve a safe, respectful, and academically focused learning environment.Parent Review1mo ago23 Reviews - Check out schools near Mchard Rd.

"If you life on a corner lot near the bus stop prepare to have you lawn littered! The teens are disrespectful, I cant sit outside without hearing swearing...even the elementary kids are bad. The three schools are terrible. And the construction on Trammel Fresno is never ending. You can hear gunshots fired often."

"Trammel Fresno is being widened. There is construction detours/delays that make my commute tedious. When they come through with sewer construction it will be worse."
