6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school treats honor students the best, if you make good grades you won't experience the nightmare that all other students do.I graduated with a 3.5 GPA and some of the teachers are great, others don't care about their students at all and will pretend to care in the company of "important" authority figures, but then behind your back will cause your downfall.I had a decent experience here, but it was only due to a select few of the teachers. Namely: Haley Dawley, Andrew Dunham (retired), and Ashley Knaffle. These people genuinely cared about me and my success, and I feel that they take their job seriously as educators.Everyone else I had a dim or non-existent relationship with. I wanted my siblings to have as good an exerience as I did, but unfortunately that's not the case. This school continues to ignore parents and their concerns, proceed with caution and do NOT make this your first choice for a school.Other Review2y ago - East Elementary School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBeing new to the area and having so few choices in the schooling of my child, I was worried. However, I have been very pleased with our experience at East Elementary School. Teachers are supportive and willing to provide chances for enrichment - another aspect I was worried about due to the lack of funding for gifted education in Michigan.
