They are outcastes in a room far away from everyone. Never invited to school recitals . General education teachers have no clue how to handle them.

Two of my kids graduated here. Very basic school. My last kid though is struggling and has some mild learning disabilities/ADHD. We meet, they say they will try something, in 2 weeks it fails.. he’s forgotten about. Repeat. He wants to drop out and the assistant principal said there’s programs for at risk kids. So I called and there’s not. The principal suggested him getting GED when he’s 16 or to be homeschooled.

So, you might think I'm another one of those kids who just don't like school because "oh it's no fun I hate this!!!" Nope. I'm an all A's student. I was doing perfectly fine before COVID but now remote learning is screwing me up. Anyway, before the pandemic, my experience here was still mediocre. Nobody learns how to stop talking and I get punished for their actions. A lot of stuff we learn is review and I want more challenging material. Most of the teachers are great but I think it's a matter of the curriculum. A lot of emphasis is put on "tiger pride," but I don't care about that. I'm here to learn. Also, why are sports so important rather than something like band? All of the chocolate fundraising money goes to prizes or stuff I'm not involved with. I have more concerns but there's a word limit here for some reason so that's all I have to say.
