"I work and live in this area. It is quiet and safe. There are plenty of areas to go hiking, walking, camping, fishing, and hunting. People in the area are very friendly for the most part, as with any area you will have the occasional troll that won't say hi to anybody. Most of the time they are transplants from some big city and never learned to be nice. The schools are very well managed. They never ask parents to send supplies for the teachers at the beginning of the school year. Forsyth math team goes to math competition every year scoring very high and beating out bigger schools. The teacher to student ratio is low so the students benefit with more teacher interaction. A traffic jam is when there are 10-12 cars in line at the three-way stop going into town. We are close enough to Branson to stop in and see a show yet far enough to not deal with the traffic. This is the quiet side of the county."
