Hi, I am a current student at IVC in 7th grade. Learning:I think learning here is okay. Students do talk a lot at times but overall I think their energy is in the right place. Sometimes, I myself feel unmotivated.Teaching:The teachers here are just okay, some are nicer than others. To everyone out there, please ask your teachers questions if you're confused, they want questions as much as you want them answered. Social-emotional support:From time to time we take mental well-being surveys that ask us what we like about the school and how we feel, etc. Special Education:I honestly don't know much about special education. I don't really see those kids around. Some kids get teased though.Safety:The school is pretty safe. We do drills and stuff to know what to do in dangerous situations. There are sometimes fights. Once, in 6th grade I saw one happen in front of me. People kind of curse a lot... yeah.Family Engagement:I don't really understand this question. I guess I do get help and support from my family in my learning?All About IVCHi again. I mostly wrote this review to correct all the wrong information about IVC here/give new people info. Here you go:1) IVC is big at first but somehow reduces size as you get adjusted here. IVC is divided into a North Cluster, South Cluster, East Cluster, and West Cluster. That's where lockers and some classrooms are.2) Here at IVC there are a lot of clubs like art, drama, speech and debate, reading, climate, and more. You can join these clubs later in the year (like, October-November maybe?)3) For 6th graders there are only 3 elective choices, band, choir, or elective wheel. Elective wheel is where you change elective every trimester to stuff like art, drama, maker space, and other stuff. 7th graders have additional choices like office assistant (pass out office slips), teacher assistant, library assistant, leadership (help with school stuff), and yearbook. 8th graders have the most choices and can do STEM (science, tech, engineering, and math work), Spanish, and Speech and Debate. More choices might be added in the future.4) Classes are divided into things called periods, I did not know this in 6th grade.5) Open lockers by turning the circle thing right, then left, and then go straight to your number.6) For the first few weeks no dressing for PE7) Check Aeries by hitting NHUSD bookmarks, there you can log in and check your grades.I'm done. My journey at James Logan High School wasn't marked by academic excellence, but little did I know that those experiences would shape the path to my success today. While I wasn't the top student, the diverse environment and supportive community at the school provided a fertile ground for personal growth and exploration.Today, as the founder of my own tech company, I've come to realize that success is not solely defined by grades or classroom achievements. It was through these values that I discovered my true calling in the tech industry.The diverse backgrounds and perspectives I encountered during my time at Logan have proven to be invaluable. They taught me to think critically, communicate effectively, and collaborate with a range of people, skills that are fundamental to my role as an entrepreneur.Looking back, I can appreciate how the patient and supportive teachers in the ICL college prep program played a pivotal role in my journey. They believed in my potential and nurtured my growth, which ultimately motivated me to strive for success beyond the classroom.As the founder of a tech company, I'm not only pursuing my passion but also contributing to the ever-evolving landscape of technology. James Logan High School may not have witnessed my academic brilliance, but it sowed the seeds of determination and resilience that continue to drive my success today.In the end, it's not about where you start, but where you're headed. My time at James Logan High School taught me that success is a journey, and sometimes the most unexpected paths lead to the most extraordinary destinations.

In my honest opinion, Eastin Elementary School is truly a great school as a recent graduate of the class of 2025-2026 who has been here for 6 years, so please read this. The teachers are supportive and will teach you beyond the curriculum, including valuable life lessons. They aren't really strict, they just push you to be good, not the very best. Outdorr space is great, you have a decent playstructure and a gigantic grass field. The building is much newer than other schools and has fully indoor 2 story hallways. Food is decent, has gone better over the years. Parent teacher club is great and the school is welcoming to families. We have great activities like the fun run fundraiser, halloween parade, garden class, field trips, field day, and more including activities the teachers give. The school is pretty safe although not the best. Unlike some of the negative reviews you may see as you go down, those are from many years ago and the school has become better now. This is a great school that I will miss and i encourage you to come here if possible.
