"People walk there dogs often in my neiborhood without issues almost all the yards are fenced. if a dog gets lose neibors know who the animal belongs to and will keep them safe till owner arrives to retrieve. "

"The Hertford area is one of those that reminds you of when life was simple and people had a sense of community and neighborly lifestyle. When I moved to the area, I was met with neigbors that welcomed me and bent over backwards to be helpfull. If you love to be on the water, hunt, fish or just relax and slow down, you have come to the right place. "

"Get away from city congestion and still drive to Elizabeth City in 35 minutes or Norfolk in an hour and a half thanks to new highways. Good schools and the largest pool in the county. Soundfront park has access for swimming and boat launch. Community activities in the clubhouse year round. Not fancy but a good place to call home."
