5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThere is no way this school is a 5 out of 10! My daughter moved to this school from Wichita, Kansas, and you can absolutely tell the difference between this school and her previous school! The teachers, administrative staff, and school district really love the children, and take great pride in PISD's accomplishments. Previous teacher at the other school saw my daughter as hyper-active and annoying. Jackson Elementary sees my daughter for who she really is... a straight A, advanced child, testing at a 2nd grade level in Kindergarten. The other school knew she was testing at 2nd grade level at the beginning of the year, and treated her as a trouble maker. Jackson sees her as a sweet and happy child, who loves to learn, and helps others. Seeing past the surface level, is VERY important as all children have talent somewhere be it art, math, reading, sports etc. My daughter was so sad at her old school, and she's with the exact same type of kids, and yet is doing MUCH BETTER, because the schools has a healthier perspective on teaching :DParent Review9y ago12 Reviews - Shepton High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is my first year at Shepton High School, and I've never been more disappointed. In the first month, 2 students got beaten up so badly that they got sent to the E.R. with concussions. The power has gone out twice, and we went on lockdown due to a school threat in December 2025. In my math class, the A/C system broke, and the temperature in the room always reached 88 degrees. We still had to work, and they did absolutely nothing. Very few of the teachers actually care about the students; the rest have lost all hope in their students, which is why our math and reading proficiency is so low. on the first week back from winter break, the sewer system literally broke and is currently leaking reeking up half of this school, If you are thinking of bringing your child here don't.Student Review4mo ago13 Reviews - Frankford Middle School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is our first year at Frankford, and we have been beyond pleased! I went in a little unsure about the transition to middle school, but the teachers and staff have been amazing, the communication has been wonderful, and my daughter has made lots of new friends. I have enjoyed getting to know the other families as well and have volunteered at some of the events throughout the year. It has really exceeded my expectations in every aspect!Parent Review2mo ago18 Reviews - Plano West Senior High School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis was a great school for my daughter. She graduated in 2023. I love the fact that they have a sign language class, which is perfect. She did really well at this school. I will highly recommend this school to anybody that moves into the Plano area. The teachers are great. The counselors are great. They let you know what is going on with these students.Parent Review9mo ago21 Reviews - Check out schools near Mapleshade.

"I just moved here and live in a duplex in the neighborhood. The folks are nice, respectful, friendly and look out for each other. Surprisingly safe . I forgot my keys in the side door for a few days and no one took it or entered my home. This place is close to everything ☺️"

"Lots of dog walkers and nice dogs abound in this bucolic little neighborhood east of Dallas . Houses are very charming harkening back to the 1930-1950’s when many of the houses were built."

"My commute is great. Moved to a house that’s about 3 miles from the office. Because the traffic from the suburbs is awful and was getting worse. "

"I have lived here for 12 years. No trick or treaters have ever came to my door. Commute is fairly easy. I-20, I-175, I-635 is near by. You can commute by car/truck. Walking and riding bicycles is pretty dangerous. There is a Boxing gym near by."

"Everyone has a dog. Everyone picks up the poop. If you don’t pick up the poop, you will be shamed. Also keep your dog on a leash and leave the cats alone. Unless you are at the park and your dog is well behaved. "
