8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTwo of our three children graduated from Hudsonville Schools. We would never suggest that it is a perfect district. However, the leaders continue to push for higher standards for the entire student body. Both of our graduates continued onward to university and did very well.Parent Review4y ago6 Reviews - Park Elementary School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageExcellent teachers and staff. Caring beyond my greatest expectations. Another reviewer mentioned it's all about who you know and Christmas plays. The music teacher is not the best since it is true favorites are played. However, one music teacher should not bring down the whole school. This school does things that make sense. They spend money wisely, care about the kids, have wonderful staff, a great principal who cares and is happy in his position. My income is on the lower side, I have no community connections, and my kids are treated well and educated well. A true spirit of caring about others is taught to the kids who will grow into caring adults. Excellent CI program. Kids with disabilities treated with respect.Parent Review12y ago3 Reviews - 56 Building at Georgetown

"I don’t know. We don’t own a dog. There are plenty of trails around and lots of green spaces for our four legged friends though. "

"There are lots of dog owners in my neighborhood. It is easy to walk your dog on a leash and neighbors are generally friendly to those dog owners. Hudsonville has a nice dog park in the ravines as well. "

"Destination school district, great community, small town feel close to shopping and some decent restaurants. Not a lot of walking paths or sidewalks for little ones, but there are plenty of parks and splash pads around the area "

"Very nice neighborhood, but busy streets. In certain areas you have to watch out for slow drivers who are a hazard to posted speed limits. Beautiful neighborhoods and great schools!"

"Sometimes pets are off a lead. Some neighbors allow pets to wander and it can be frustrating as a pet owner to run into a dog that may or may not have a negative interaction with your own. "

"Fairly quiet. Neighbor frequently has a sheriff visit. Never anything crazy, but kind of annoying. Kids are usually out all times of day and it seems pretty safe. "

"It's not unique but it is quiet. people tend to mind their own business and most are friendly. There's also a nature center within walking distance so you're able to take a walk on the beautiful trails and enjoy nature. "

"If you're looking for the bustle of the city, you're not going to find it in this area. If you're looking for a safe, family friendly, quiet area with good quality people, then this is your place. If you want entertainment, you're only 5-10 minutes from chain restaurants, mall, etc. Only 15 minutes to downtown Grand Rapids with all the amenities that offers."
