this school does not care about its students unless they are athletes or on the honor roll. they make so many children feel like idiots and it was an awful thing to experience. I dealt with bullying for years that was overlooked by everyone.

Buford academics is great! Top of the class. They do fail to address students that are not “soldier esque” to the Buford standard. They only spend time on students who play school sports, or have community status. I hate to be typing this, but my child is “ targeted” in a way that breaks them down. They no longer like school, cannot make friends, and is effecting his grades at this point. Would recommend for this school if you have a perfect child, would not recommend if you child has imagination, or anything Buford does not deem worthy.

This school is horrible for your child! They don't care about the kids and only care about the kids that are rich or if they are on the school board. Today, my kid asked them if the walls were bulletproof because they are small bricks about 4 inches thick. He got in trouble. A few months back, my kid complained about being harassed and bullied. He also complained about a kid who stabbed him in the hand with the pen and tried to stab him in the eyes. They didn't do anything due to "lack of evidence" even though we showed the wounds and had the kids name. My kid also got in trouble because he was making up assignments and recieved ISS. Do not bring your kids here.

We had an amazing experience even though our school year was cut short due to Covid. Everyone really cares about all the students and they are always helpful and approachable
