6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageCrocker has an amazing group of staff members who care about the child. They practice good attitude and contributing ideas, time, etc to improve not only the student, but the school and the community. If a parent we're to ever be concerned with their child's performance (attitude, homework, involvement, class work, etc) parents can reach the teacher and within 2 days speak to the teacher over the phone or face to face to find out what's going on. The teacher's allow children to attend "help me" classes if they feel the student needs more one on one attention. My daughter loves the teachers she has had, but loves her specials teachers and the assistant teachers.Parent Review11y ago1 Reviews - Fitchburg High School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAlthough every school experience is what you make of it, my personal experience at Longsjo Middle School was not very positive. I felt that many of the students contributed heavily to the overall environment, and that was one of the biggest issues during my time there. The atmosphere often felt chaotic and not very supportive, which made it difficult to focus or feel comfortable. To be fair, there were some teachers who genuinely tried their best to support and encourage their students, and I appreciated their efforts. However, even with those positive influences, the overall experience still wasn’t one I would recommend. Because of that, I personally wouldn’t suggest attending Longsjo Middle School.Other Review6mo ago3 Reviews - Check out schools near Main St.

"There are many options for schools, lots of parks for kids to go to and hang out, and the area is pretty safe. Fitchburg is not a big city, so anyone you see walking on the street likely lives here and is just going somewhere i.e. not a threat/ not doing anything nefarious. "

"How some people don’t pick up after their dogs outside. Also some owners don’t walk their dog on a leash or have their dog potty trained. "

"Highly underrated city. Beautiful historic architecture in the town center. Outside the center which is for good walking/public transportation, there are large lots and privacy. Home to Fitchburg State University. 2 T-Stations and great access to route 2."

"July 3rd they shut down most of Main Street and there is a huge block party! With bands, food, vendors etc and a DJ. And so much more! At 10 pm there is a fireworks display and then on July 4 there is a parade. They also shut down Main Street so the various businesses can participate with families for all kids young and old to do “ Main Street Trick or Treating” People love all of these events and there is a huge turnout. My girls and I love it and it’s very safe as well."

"There are only two ways in or out of the neighborhood. It is a cluster of small quiet streets tucked away from the main routes of the city. The only cars that drive through are residents of the neighborhood."
