5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI can't say enough positive things about J Watson Bailey. When we first moved to the Hudson Valley we sent our daughter to a private school. After two years there we all decided that it was time to make a change to the public school system. Our daughter is a creative and we were wanting more than just an academic focus, but more of a well rounded experience. The first day she came home, she said, "Mom this was the right choice". The school has some of the most invested teachers I have come across, has ample extracurriculars (art, chorus, band, sports, theater, afterschool clubs, etc), the curriculum is exciting and our daughter is eager to learn, the principal is super engaged with the community, the student base is diverse, anytime we have a question or concern, we are answered immediately - I could go on and on. I am not sure why this school gets such low marks, but I wanted to be a positive voice for this school and our experience. So grateful we made the decision to send our daughter here, she is thriving. Thank you J Watson Bailey!Parent Review2y ago3 Reviews - Kingston High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son is a 2017 graduate. He graduated in top ten of the graduating class. He was captain of crew team. All honors and AP. Started the robotics club and got accepted to almost every ivy and top tier college he applied to. My point? If your kid has been taught the correct priorities and wants to succeed he or she will get a top notch education. If they don’t have support from their parents and taught the importance of education they will end up doing drugs sitting on Broadway wall. Get involved in your own child’s curriculum. Teachers can’t do it all even teachers as devoted as those at KHS.Parent Review8y ago6 Reviews - Robert R Graves School

"Years ago they had fireworks in the plaza, a carnival, then they would have Santa in the Plaza, Santa was actually my uncle incidentally I was conflicted even into my teenage years as to the validity of Santa as he seemed to know way too much about me personally, anyway it felt very family oriented 30 years ago, not so much now"

"Lack of sidewalks and isn’t pedestrian friendly 😔. Town should prioritize people over cars by building footbridges and adding sidewalks. "

Also it’s right next to an airport my son loves watching the planes overhead . The streets are very wide and low traffic so it is a nice neighborhood to take long walks with the kids or animals "
