My son was in the 10th grade and the staff encouraged him to drop out. This came from my son saying this. When I confronted the staff about it, it was said we try to motivate our students by saying this. Instead of being motivated my son would talk about dropping out. I had to let him finish out the year since it was towards the end of the school year. I took him out and put him in LVS where my son has a wonderful and supportive schooling experience. Staff should be ashamed of themselves for encouraging students to drop out. They also claimed my son was depressed because he lays his head down on a desk. He has done this for years in every school. He especially does this when concentrating on his art as he gets close to the paper. Just because my son is different doesn’t mean he is depressed. We are moving and I’m glad my daughter will not be coming to this school next year.

I like how available the progress of my student is through power school.

The school is a joke!!! The principal doesn’t follow through on anything!!! If you’re a single parent she will ignore you and blow you off! Not tell you what is going on with your kids at all! Honestly is 0 stars was an option that is what they would get! There is a lot of better schools for your kids to go to. Lots of bullying. Leadership is absolutely terrible! They don’t notify both parents the principal picks favorites and gets involved in stuff she should stay out of. If any parents ask I tell them to find a better school for their children!!!
