When we first came to SCES, I knew it was a special place. After changing schools I was worried about my son's transition. Everyone made it so easy. From the administration & teachers, all the way to the office staff, they made us feel very welcome and happy we were now part of their school family. After several years, my son has done very well academically and score advanced in several areas of the TCAP. Our family has been nothing but pleased with his teachers and progress.

"Spring City, TN is known for community events like the Spring City Blooms Festival. This festival is held every spring on Front Street and features vendors, food, craft sales, and live music. Another notable event is Shake the Lake, a celebration held at Veterans Park around Independence Day with pageants, duck races, and fireworks. Additionally, there are events like Laurel Dace Day at Spring City Nature Park, which promotes the conservation of the endangered fish. "

"Most people are home owners with land...many dogs run free with the other neighborhood dogs...most get along no problem ...most people treat dogs very kindly...will call number on tags if ever find one lost "

"The TN. River runs around this quaint little town. You can spend months exploring the coves of the river without hitting the same place twice. If you long for adventure, just head due south to the Gulf of Mexico through the Inter-coastal waterway."
