This is the third year my child has attended Kirtland Elementary. The teachers and administration are top-notch. He is in classes for gifted support, and I am very impressed with the WEP the school created specifically for his needs. The school focuses on tailoring its teaching to each individual student's strengths and weaknesses. The school is small, which creates a strong sense of community, and the administration encourages parent/family participation in most school events. I couldn't imagine a better setting for my child's education.

"Kirtland is a small, tight-knit community where neighbors know each other and look out for each other. The schools are excellent and home to top rated sports teams. City leadership is accountable and responsive. It is in close proximity to the highway, larger cities for shopping and has three metroparks locations that frequently offer free community events. "

"Just moved here. Large lots in a safe neighborhood. All homes are beautiful and well maintained. Neighbors seem friendly, but most keep to themselves. "

"A safe and private neighborhood where everyone knows everyone. Houses are well maintained. We also have very good schools. "

"I have resided in Kirtland since 1996. It is family friendly with great schools. There are many parks and outdoor activities. Lakeland Community College is right down the road. Crime is almost non existent. If I could change one thing, it would be the weather. We love it here."
