8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe love our school and cannot say enough positive things about it. The teachers are amazing and really take the time to make sure each and every child is getting what is needed. The principal takes an active role as well, even greets the students at drop off each morning. My daughter excels here, straight A’s, reads a grade level above, and loves her teachers, counselor, and principal!Parent Review1y ago3 Reviews - Heritage Middle School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI went to this school, along with most of my family, and all I can tell you is that you should NOT send your kid here. if you are okay with your children being degraded by not only the other students, but staff and faculty too, then this is the school for you. they don't go into depth about school topics, leaving your children confused and then fail them because they don't understand. they will blame the students and their families for the schools' own faults, even ignoring extremely important notices for the students and parents. they DO NOT take bullying seriously, I went all three years and after a multitude of reports of bullying I dealt with firsthand, there was still nothing done at all. they have even ignored a sexual assault that happened to a dear friend of mine all because the boy who did it was popular and on the wrestling team. your kids and you will be absolutely miserable because the school itself. the teachers are rude and so are the rest of the staff, they are all so self-absorbed, they can't see the harm they are actually causing. they never notify parents about important things, like example, the buses. if they do notify, its last minute. they even made my sister sit in her own period blood all day because they wouldn't let her call our mom to ask for a spare pair of clothes, so all school day (7-8 hours.) they purposely made her sit in her own blood. they would also discriminate against students of color and even peoples sexual and gender identities.Other Review1y ago14 Reviews - Check out schools near Logans chapel Loop.

"I’ve lived here a decade. No one talks to anyone. Frankly the traffic is too intense on Peterson to allow for neighborhood events. "

"There are no planned community events in this neighborhood, nor have there been in 10 years. It is too dangerous to walk on the side of the road. "

"It’s a neighborhood in transition. In years past we would have never considered living here, but now we were able to settle in as a young newlywed couple very comfortably. Our neighbors are some of the kindest people who have looked out for us time and again, and it’s a very diverse community racially, age-wise, and politically. "

"I've lived in this neighborhood for 10 years, and the neighbors are not friendly. it is a safe neighborhood, no one comes out of their homes for ambulance or firetrucks. it's safe to walk or jog, the cars do speed even with the road bumps and the speed limit 20mph. School bus picks up kids for elementary, middle and high school. Heritage Middle and High School District."

"I've lived in this neighborhood for 10 years. it's pretty quiet for the most part. This is not a friendly neighborhood, people stick to themselves, and don't communicate with their neighbors. "
