I have 2 children in the district. I have been pleasantly surprised by the High School. My child has made strong connections with the teachers. She has also had excellent opportunities to participate in many different types of extracurriculars. It’s smaller size actually opens up doors for greater participation. The community also shows up for the kids and is great about supporting them in their sporting events, theater productions, fundraising efforts.

I absolutely love this school! My son was kicked out of 1 of the other schools in the district and is now at Hilltop. They have worked with him with his disabilities and helped him to become such a better student. I can’t say enough great things about the Principal and all the teachers and staff I have come in contact with!

My child has had a great experience at CMS its disappointing that it has negative reputation. There is alot of support for the students from teachers, principals and staff and the community. If children are misbehaving or not thriving in a regular classroom they are able to transfer to an alternative program but still graduate as chichester student's. I believe that is the reason the performance scores are so low. The surrounding community is mixed with low medium and high income families. Its not only low income families as stated on this site.
