Having come from a bigger city, I was disheartened and then angered by this elementary schools lack of ability to deal with bullying. My niece attends this school and she is teased unmercifully by the students. The staff is aware and does nothing to combat it. The schools where we come from have policies to deal with those issues and has a zero tolerance.

I regret sending my child to this school. It is a student community of theft, drugs, vandalism, prejudice, and profanity. Although some teachers are excellent, I've seen several bullying teachers! The school is way too old, falling apart, and I saw mold on the ceiling of the cafeteria one day (don't know if it's still there) Also I have a physical condition in which my son needs to stay home with me sometimes, and since MHS got its new principal there is no sensitivity and understanding towards absences. As the parent of a senior, I don't reccomend this school to any fellow parent!
