5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter came here because it was supposed to be a "good" school. We thought this would be a better option than our neighborhood school. How wrong we were. The behavior of the students here is appalling and there are absolutely no consequences. Teachers and other staff either don't care or are completely overwhelmed and clueless on how to handle the things that go on. My daughter has been bullied relentlessly, sexually harassed, and threatened. The staff's answer is always to give the other party a "talking to." I'm not even sure that actually happens. They need to take the safety and wellbeing of our children far more seriously.Parent Review4y ago1 Reviews - Kensington High School

"Dislike everything, rude neighbors, people letting their kids out at all hours of the day without supervision, jumping on cars, banging on people’s doors and running away. Always fighting on the block, leaving trash on other people steps."

"Some people are social and some are not. Port Richmond is an up and coming neighborhood. There's a lot of new people here and there are many newly renovated homes. The older people that have lived in this area their entire lives, are kind of being replaced with younger, yuppie kind of feeling neighbors. But generally pleasant. People just want to get rid of the riff raft and have clean, safe homes. "

"I’ve lived in area my entire life and in this neighborhood for 46 years and it has changed in the last 10 years. House prices have skyrocketed and new construction is everywhere. Local shot and beer bars have all become fancy restaurants so I guess that’s good. "
