7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son just finished kindergarten here, he and myself absolutely loved it! Both his teachers were awesome. They seem to do a great job educating the kids. Parents have to understand that half of learning is done at home. We have to enforce what is done in the school. I also LOVE how diverse the staff is. The school is small, and welcoming. The communication between teachers and staff is efficient. I couldn't ask for a better public learning institution. My son will be going into 1st grade come august. I`ll see how that year goes.Parent Review6y ago14 Reviews - Flat Rock Middle School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son attended FRMS for all three years and had an incredible experience. Starting virtually during COVID was challenging, but the teachers built strong relationships and made him feel connected from the very beginning. Once students returned in person, the learning opportunities and experiences were exceptional. He thrived academically, grew tremendously through the orchestra program, and developed skills that prepared him for long-term success. FRMS helped shape him into a confident, high-achieving student, and he is now graduating high school with well over a 4.0 GPA while competing on multiple state championship teams. We are so grateful for the impact FRMS had on his life.Parent Review4w ago10 Reviews - Sandy Creek High School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI’m a recent grad an I transferred here during my sophomore year, I had a good experience, I can’t say I’ve had many negative encounters at Sandy Creek, most people were very welcoming. I was able to understand the curriculum being taught in my courses, AP included. However, some of the teachers at this school were really aren’t that good at doing their jobs. We didn’t have AP Chemistry this year due to a lack of people signing up, the main cause for this being the person who taught it. I had this teacher for a course this year and she doesn’t really teach, just assigns work. That’s just one example but it can be said for a few teachers here. Overall, most of my teachers were great as well as the interaction amongst my peers.Other Review1mo ago24 Reviews - Check out schools near Lees Mill Rd.

"It’s a pet friendly neighborhood. You will find plenty of deer, rabbits, birds etc. here. They are local pet shops for supplies. There are quite a few parks in the area as well. A couple of them have lakes (though with lakes most often times you’ll find snakes). And almost all of them have walking trails for pets. On the other hand there is traffic from time to time, so it’s not advisable for you pet to just run free in the neighborhood streets. "
