The one problem with this school is the fact that it ignores the Separation of Church and State. This school sponsors and promotes church related events, allows it's teachers to wear religious t-shirts during class, and has their PTO funding church related events held at this school. The teachers help organize and lead the "Hawks for Christ" program and the school advertises HFC t-shirts and events on their facebook page. All this is in clear violation of the law.

Hardin-Jefferson is a great small school district! They have wonderful staff, and excellent state scores! If you want the best for your child look no further!

The leadership and communication at this school is excellent. However, don't expect this to level of excellence to carry over to the neighboring high school because it doesn't.
