"It is only 20 miles from downtown Nashville, TN but is truly a very small, rural town with a peaceful vibe."

"fantastic quiet community several parks and nature areas low to no crime and great schools. close enough for a quick commute to Nashville for work."
    • poodlehugs
"This area is extremely safe. You never hear any sirens, which in my book means there isnt much police activity around here. My neighbors who have lived here over 20 years, say that its very safe and they feel very comfortable here."
    • Cyn
"I live iin Ridgetop TN and I have to say that it it the best kept secret in TN. The climate here is cooler in the sumer months because of its higher elevation and it is close to major lake recreation areas as well as the city - without having to battle major traffic! The area is I think crime free and the people are friendly and fun! Not to mention that the community itself has plenty of activities that are great! True country living at its finest - space, deer and wild turkeys, parks, tight community and proximtiy to all the best that middle Tennesee has to offer! Good luck getting into the community tho - houses rarely come on the market! We love it here!! "
