To the recent reviewers who made some valid points: the school has gone through changes, and it’s clear they’ve listened to the concerns. A new principal is coming for the 2025–2026 school year, which shows they’re trying to move in the right direction.The staff here really do care. They work hard—something that’s not always easy to find in public schools—and they take their jobs seriously. They’re supportive and want to see students succeed. While the student body still has room to grow, the administration and teachers stay consistent and try to make everyone feel welcome.Compared to my experience at Stetson, the staff at Rustin are a lot more involved. They actually care, and it shows in how they do their jobs. The school offers a lot if you’re willing to get involved. There are over 50 different clubs, so there's something for everyone.Overall, I think Rustin is better than some people say. Whenever I’ve had a problem—or seen someone else going through something—the counselors and staff have been there to help. They’re dedicated to helping students as much as they can.

This is literally the worst school ever. The teachers are on their phones more than the students and nobody even seems to care about teaching. Every day feels miserable and boring, and the rules make everything worse. Half the time the teachers ignore students when they need help, and the school feels so negative all the time. It honestly feels like being trapped somewhere nobody wants to be. If you actually want a good school with teachers who care and students who are happy, go to Pierce instead.

Parents are very involved. My 2 kids had a great experience.
