5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAn absolutely outstanding school. It was great before it changed into the CORE school and now it’s amazing. We feel so great about sending our child here and recommend it to anyone with elementary school age kids. Everyone there is happy to be there. The most positive, supportive environment you could ever hope for.Parent Review1y ago4 Reviews - East Middle School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter experienced repeated bullying throughout her last school year at Giant Springs. On numerous occasions, she came home in tears after reporting the bullying to school staff, only to feel that her concerns had been brushed aside. The bullying became so significant that I had to pick her up early from school on multiple occasions because she no longer felt safe or emotionally able to remain there. When I brought these concerns to Principal Karla Miller, I expected compassion, support and a genuine commitment to protecting a child who was clearly struggling. Instead, I was met with a response that left my daughter as well as myself feeling dismissedRather than speaking with my daughter directly, Karla questioned the accuracy of what my daughter had reported to me despite the numerous documented incidents that had occurred throughout the school year. I left the conversation feeling as though I was being encouraged to doubt my own child instead of working together to address an ongoing problem. That experience permanently damaged my trust in the school’s leadership.I want to acknowledge that this school has many incredible teachers and support staff who genuinely care about their students. Unfortunately, those positive experiences could not outweigh what I experienced from the administration. The lack of empathy, poor communication and failure to meaningfully address repeated concerns ultimately caused me to lose confidence in the school’s leadership. One particularly concerning incident involved my daughter’s teacher providing my personal cell phone number to another student without my knowledge or permission. Combined with the administration’s handling of the bullying, this further reinforced my belief that our concerns were not being handled with the level of care they deserved.I am sharing this experience not out of anger, but because I hope it leads to reflection and meaningful change. No child should come home crying because they feel unsafe at school and no parent should leave a meeting with school leadership feeling as though their child’s voice has been discounted. I sincerely hope Giant Springs uses this feedback to improve its response to bullying and its communication with families so that no other parent or child has to endure what we experienced this year.Parent Review3w ago6 Reviews - Check out schools near L1b1 Meadows Loop.

"It’s a dog friendly neighborhood. While it lacks a dog park, there is enough space to play fetch and outdoor train. "

"Easy and close to the highway and shopping and work. Small town feel with everything you could want. Not a lot of restaurants but local places aren’t bad. "

"it's nothing like Cali and 6 lane traffic. Our main route through town has 3 lanes most of the way through it. It takes maybe 1/2 hour to get from one side of town to the other if it isn't busy."

"We’ve lived in this neighborhood for a year now. The views are great. Most neighbors are very friendly, though some keep to themselves. The hills and lack of sidewalks make biking for little kids a challenge. There are plenty of dogs, bunnies, birds and lovely yards. "

"Parks and trail systems are great and provide doodoo bags for pet owners. Great dog park also! Sunnyside park has plenty of space to play with pets separate from children’s’ area. Most homes have fenced yards. "

"The neighborhood isn’t great. But it’s ok if you like downtown Great Falls. Other then that drugs are being ran all around here, people stumble around because they are drunk and the bars are closed all the time"

"It is a family-friendly neighborhood. Safe for kids and pets to walk around. Easy to get to downtown but is tucked away from traffic so it is quiet. Across the street is the Meadowlark Country Club for golf enthusiasts. They also have indoor and outdoor tennis, an outdoor pool, small gym and a great restaurant with a view of the Missouri River. CMRussel Art Auction every 3rd week of March happened here every year. Baseball field for little kids and a walking trail for dogs is a big plus at the end of our street. "
