KDM is a fabulous elementary school for the area. It houses the school district's Autism and Multiple Disabilities programs, which makes it a great inclusive environment for students of all abilities. They also have other Special Education programs available if your child needs additional support. KDM's mental health staff does a great job with identifying social issues among the kids. I feel my child is completely safe when she's there. She experienced some typical girl drama with friends, and staff immediately stepped in to help diffuse the situation. Specifically, she speaks highly of the Guidance Counselor and School Psychologist that has checked in with her several times. I know there has a proposal made to renovate/expand all of the buildings in the school district, which needs to be voted on to pass.

"Fireworks and Boonton twp day are great events held annually at our large open space fields . The open field is huge and one of the best in NJ. Used for sports and large tournaments"

"Boonton is a very fine place to live.I’ve lived here all my life it’s all I know and my dream apartment would be in a boonton in itself. However it is quite expensive and very challenging to find studio apartments or small one bedroom apartments affordable enough for me"

"People don’t always pickup after their dogs, but there are a lot of areas to walk them and several parks. Boonton coffee is dog friendly and some of the restaurants downtown have outdoor seating in the summer"
