4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is the worst school ever my child has got a 5 day suspension for making a threat which understand. But my child has been getting chased by a kid slapped and also got a threat saying that was saying he will get killed he went to the dean and the dean just gave that kid countless warnings. This school is so bais I do NOT recommend putting your kid in to this schoolParent Review3mo ago25 Reviews - North Babylon High School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe bullying and peer pressure in this school is out of control. My child was bullied relentlessly by kids who were older. They threatened my child on several occasions and even threatened my older child who doesn’t even attend the school. My child ended up being jumped by 3 kids after they mistakenly thought my child took something from them. The school only punished one child and told me the other two didn’t do anything. Baloney. Then the school questioned my child as if it was a made up story that these kids actually jumped my child. And can’t forget the selling of vape pens going on in the school. And yet the administrators have done nothing to stop these things! The bullying and peer pressure is still an issue and something should be done about it before these problems escalate.Parent Review2y ago8 Reviews - Marion G Vedder Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageA great school needs three elements: a great leader i.e. principal, engaged teachers, and involved parents. My experience so far with MGV is that we have all of those elements! My daughter's teacher for the 2012/2013 school year was awesome! I hope the quality that we've come to expect continues during our involvement and beyond with this school. As the academic expectations grow, I hope our community will come together and ensure that the teachers get the support they need and deserve to make sure I children have the best foundation possible to succeed.Parent Review12y ago1 Reviews - Check out schools near Kobb bl rl.

"Big sports town not just as fans of the professionals but for kids and local sports. Kids ride bikes everywhere safely and as a dog owner and rescuer I haven’t noticed any issues with dog curbing. "

"Someone was ran over and dragged to death a couple of blocks from here. Gangs of motorcycle and 4 wheelers run up and down all streets around here and there are hot rod drag races up and down Deer Park Ave. weekly."

"This neighborhood is all about location, parts can be neighborly and quaint while others feel colder and more like living on a highway. As someone who went through the high school I would say it is going downhill relatively fast but still with some decent academic programs"

"My neighborhood is minutes from the main hub of the LIRR in Babylon village. Deer Park Ave/Route 231 runs directly through deer park, Babylon and north Babylon w all major fast food places, supermarkets, nurseries and gyms as well as directly to LIE AND SUNRISE HWY. I grew up and went to school here and the town is a very close knit, family oriented town. Not only does most everyone I grew up and went to school with still live and raise their children here but also most of the businesses here are owned and run by them as well. We are also a very school spirited sports oriented town proud of our blue and white colored bulldog represented mascot teams! "

"The elementary schools are great but the middle school has had a lot of bullying going on for many years. There are so many children there who suffer from anxiety and fear going to school on a daily basis. "
