This scenic area is home to the Apple Valley Airport, Wal-Mart distribution Center, a 1 million square feet plus facility with more than 12 miles of conveyor belts on Johnson Road off of Dale Evans Parkway, and a brand new state of the art regional public safety training center, a 9 acre campus with 41,500 sf of buildings/classrooms where Victor Valley Community College trains new firefighters, police officers, paramedics, and emergency medical technicians. Currently in review for new construction is an additional 1.3 million SF warehouse and distribution center. Zoned R-LD: Low Density Residential, allowing 1 dwelling unit per every 2.5 acres. The police don't show up when you call, especially for loud parties after midnight or fireworks being shot off at all hours of the night, even though they are illegal here and a huge fire risk"
