3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageDespite Nimitz always having a bad reputation, it actually helps a lot of students when it comes to their future goals. I graduated from Nimitz in 2019 as a cum laude student. If it wasn't for them and their dual credit program, I would have never gotten into Texas A&M. Throughout my time here, the school improved a lot. Academically, it could improve a little more, but when I was there, the students always achieved wonderful things. As a public school, you may think here are fights everyday, but I only heard of about two in the four years I was there. They also do not implement the collar shirts since the district decided to remove that policy. I did not LOVE this school, but I am forever grateful for the opportunities it gave me.Other Review5y ago7 Reviews - Jones Ec/Pre-K/Kg Center

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI volunteer on a regular basis. Therefore, I see the good, bad and the ugly. The good: I appreciate the field experiences the students at Jones PK/K receives. The teachers are enthusiastic about teaching and go beyond the call of duty. The bad: Unfortunately, many students are not taught the values of respect. I witnessed teachers redirecting students on a consistence bases. Redirecting non-compliance students takes away instructional time from my child. The ugly: Students often sit in the nurses office for hours waiting on their parents to bring a chance of clothes (just put extra clothes in your child backpack). The bus often bring students back to school because the parent is not at the bus stop. I know life happens. It would not hurt to call the school and notify someone that you are aware and have made arrangements to pick-up your child from school. So often we (parents) make excuses instead of making a change to help our child(ren) be successful in school. Many thank-yous to the teachers at A. W. Jones EC/Pk/K for helping my child be the best she can be.Parent Review7y ago8 Reviews - Jones Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageJones Elementary School is a great school that truly values family involvement. There are also plenty of opportunities for families to stay engaged through events, meetings, and classroom involvement, which helps build a strong sense of community. The teachers are supportive, communicative, and open to collaborating with parents to help each child succeed. I also appreciate how the school actively incorporates feedback from families and makes noticeable improvements each year.Overall, a caring and community focused school that continues to grow and improve.Parent Review2mo ago11 Reviews - Jones Middle

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageDo not go to this school. First, my friend got his glasses broken by a bully and the school did not do anything about it. Second, there are alot of bullies and they make peoples life like mine a living hell and teachers dont do anything. Third, when there are fights, the school hardly does anything. I do NOR RECCOMEND THIS SCHOOL. ALSO, there was a special needs kid and he got beat up by a big kid and there were 3 teachers right there and they did not do anything and they are even on the news for this. Do no send your kids to this school.Other Review1y ago10 Reviews - Check out schools near Kenswick Dr.

"Our neighborhood called North Kingwood Forest is great for young couples with children or those who like outdoors! We honestly live in the best street called My Way, where all the neighbors are super friendly and we watch each others kids and dogs like our own. My husband and I just organized a block party for Halloween and we had the entire street coming, it was awesome! If you’re looking for a safe place and sociable neighbors, you will love it..."
